Process
Hello . Instructing a design team early in the process can be incredibly valuable. Ensuring that spaces are fit for purpose or have the right potential before investing too much time & financial commitment. Evaluating your existing space, test fitting the new one, storage and furniture audits … it all helps to get your project off to a good start.
Space Planning . How will you use your space, what are the essentials, what is the wish list? We consider your needs holistically, with the potential of your building in mind, to develop initial layouts in line with your requirements. We can meet on site, walk the floor, scribble and arrange any helpful surveys. Getting this stage right is essential. If you will not be inhabiting directly, layout options can help show off the flexibility of the area ready for marketing to potential occupiers.
Conceptual Design . Our job is to show you the possible. To focus on the detail and buildability of the scheme and, ultimately to give a little insight into your character or your history, through your space. This might simply be delighting your team with a considered environment that they love spending time in. We will present a design scheme that walks you through the space detailing colour palettes and material finishes alongside any relevant furniture, fixtures and bespoke design items.
Developed & Technical Design . Drawings and finishes schedules are prepared, as required, for your selected contractor or for tender, to cost and build.
Construction . Be it meeting attendance or a quick WhatsApp, we will be there during the onsite stages of your project, assisting where needed and problem solving when required. A good project is supported by good people, forging excellent relationships with honest pre-emptive communication, it’s fundamental. We work flexibly, to support you, and the rest of the project team as needed, throughout the process.
